EuroTec ultrafiltration membrane systems (EMS-UF) have successfully started up the operation in Palau for the decentralised water treatment plants in 2 different locations to supply clean and safe drinking water quality to the island residents.
The incoming feed water to the EuroTec UF membrane systems after the sand filtration process is ranging from 5 NTU to 10 NTU and after been filtered by EuroTec UF membranes, the UF filtrate is consistently achieving at an average of < 0.1 NTU.
This demonstrates the superb quality of EuroTec ultrafiltration membrane performance on not only removing suspended solids, turbidity but also, it’s capability of removing organics and microorganisms such as bacteria and viruses to ensure good class drinking water quality standard. The robustness of EuroTec UF membrane systems is also an ideal water treatment solution to decentralized water treatment plants.
